SilverStone TJ10S-W

$309.99 Released December, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:External aesthetic is elegant rather than gaudy like many enthusiast cases. Sturdy graphics card supports near the hard drive bay take pressure off longer graphics cards. Very roomy--longer GPUs won't get in the way of hard drives.

The Cons:Much too pricey for the average user compared to regular ATX cases of comparable size.

The SilverStone TJ10S-W is a high-end full-tower desktop computer case compatible with extended ATX, ATX and SSI motherboards. It features a mid-section air duct for additional GPU cooling, 120mm fan cooling and an all-aluminum construction.

Additionally, the TJ10S-W sports tool-less component access and die-cast aluminum supports for longer graphics cards.

The TJ10S-W's mid-section air duct provides additional and dedicated cooling to longer graphics cards, ultimately lowering the entire system's temperature. Its 120mm fan cooling features five separate 120mm fans--two placed on the top of the case, one at the hard drive bay, one at the rear, one near the middle of the case--providing the TJ10S-W with exceptional airflow for improved system performance and stability. Meanwhile, the TJ10S-W's die-cast aluminum GPU support takes pressure off of the PCI-E connectors of longer graphics cards by supporting the front of the card in addition to the typical rear support.

Comes loaded up with so many fans, even a quad-SLI/CrossFireX setup can run fairly coolly without additional cooling.

Despite the number of fans, operational volume is actually pretty low.
