SilverStone SG03

$130.00 Released December, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Sturdy construction combining lighter aluminum with some steel support. Side panels swing open to offer easy access. Mesh filter at the front does a good job catching dust, easy to clean.

The Cons:Smaller MicroATX form factor makes it difficult to manage the cables, pretty tight inside. Grille is very difficult to remove from the bracket, makes initial install of the case fans tricky.

SilverStone SG03 is a dedicated Micro ATX SFF (small form factor) tower case. The primary feature of this case is its ability to accomodate large amounts of hardware inside a small enclosure. This includes the space for two graphics cards, up to 10.5" in length each, as well as space for three 3.5" drives and a 5.25" drive.

The small size and aluminum construction of this case make it well suited for building a powerful, protable system. Large venting on the front and sides of the case improve heat dissipation and potentially allow for the use of quieter cooling solutions. Small size and the potential for low noise make the chassis an option for low-profile systems as well.
