Antec NSK6580

$100.00 Released January, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Unlike smaller NSK cases, this case is large enough to house a standard ATX board (such as Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H I'm using with it). The included 430W PSU is very quiet and has 80+ rating. Good cooling potential: the rear 120mm TriCool fan is supplied with the case and is also very quiet. The side panel has an air guide for the CPU with optional 80mm fan mounting at the base and there are two mounts for optional 92mm fans at the front. The case is relatively quiet even with the optional fans installed.

The Cons:Doesn't have the washable air filter in front of the front fans like some other Antec models (such as SLK3700BQE). No external 3.5" expansion bays available (an 5.25" to 3.5" adapter is included though). For reasons unknown, the black edition of this case is priced higher than the two-color unit.

The NSK6580 is a standard case from Antec. An improved NSK6500 with an included 430W 80+ certified power supply, the NSK6580 has many possible applications, including a multimedia PC for a living room, a miniature gaming rig or a small office PC.

Drives are shock mounted with grommets from underside on quick release trays. Allows for better hd cooling and easy removal.

The 3.5 floppy tray is designed to screw mount a floppy from the bottom. If you have a side mount floppy as most are, you will be scratching your head as to how to mount and doing some adaption.
